Analytics is essential to our organizations, and since acquiring the technology, we have been able to collect more data. The data helps the company in different ways because keeping records drives the company towards future goals. We have been able to plan and take the needs of the customers into consideration. However, challenges in the application of analytics to customer service. The problems emanate from issues such as poor handling of data, increased vulnerabilities due to security and storage. We have raised a lot of concerns, and it is time to implement new strategies and steps that will ensure the data customers leave with us is safe. We are in the process of ethical handling of data that grants personalized service.

The fact that this data is valuable to the organization, it is also valuable to criminals which might lead to escalating series of data breaches. The most obvious requirements for organizations to support the process of analytics is by ensuring proper customer data management (Kiron, & Shockley, 2011). Having accurate customer data can highly benefit the marketers. Nevertheless, if the organizations do not possess the requisite resources, it becomes very tough for the company to assemble and analyze the data.

Challenges faced by our company in effectively integrating analytics professionals into organization include:

·         Customer data collection and storage.

·         Implementing right technology

·         Protection of customer data

·         Handling large volume of data
