Banning large sodas is efficient and smart. Obesity is one of the leading causes of cancer, diabetes, and, heart disease. According to studies, more than 50% of obese people are diabetic. To help succumb such calamities an action need to be taken, and for this case, a ban on a large can of sodas and other beverages and soft drinks which have more than 70% of sugar contents just seem right. Reasons as to why this ban is effective are that it will limit the consumption of excess sugar by individuals. Since excess sugar plays a significant role in one being obese, restricting the size of the can would help limit excess sugar consumption.
